Guacamelee! features a down on his luck Mexican named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton named Carlos Calaca. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico, and has the player swapping between dimensions known as “The Living World” and “The Dead World” on his quest to rescue the girl he loves.

"Game Beaten April 15,2013 1: A 2D metroidvania game but with a mexican flair that has never been done before 2:The soundtrack is amazing and really sets the tone with such amazing mexican tracks and instruments and when you get a powerup the mexican hat dance plays super fast so that was quite awesome 3:Very much like Outland where you can switch in between two different worlds in this game the land of the living and the land of the dead 4:So many game references it hurts but in an epic way."
