On January 23rd, 19997, Tori Amos gave a sell-out benefit concert at the Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York to launch 'UNLOCK THE SILENCE', a year-long promotional and fund-raising campaign, sponsored by cK CALVIN KLEIN which was designed to raise awareness of the work done by RAINN, the RAPE, ABUSE AND INCEST NATIONAL NETWORK, which offers support and counselling to survivors of sexual assault.
Tori performs compositions from three of her albums, including the song SILENT ALL THESE YEARS (from her 1992 debut album ' Little Earthquakes'), which was used as the touchstone track for the campaign.
