The show seems to have found its footing in quicker segments and sharper ideas, among them a pair of truly hilarious "red carpet" episodes in which fake journalists--some of whom don't even speak English--pester the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Alicia Silverstone, and Dule Hill with bizarre questions. An unsuspecting Katie Holmes arrives at the home of filmmaker McG (Charlie's Angels) for a discussion about a project, only to watch in horror as McG (who is in on the joke) weakly fends off accusations from his "fiancée" that he is having a fling with Holmes. Halle Berry is denied entrance to the world premiere of her star-driven feature Gothika while the film's producer, Joel Silver, watches in amusement with Punk'd host Ashton Kutcher. The best bit, however, finds teen idol Hilary Duff taking a driving lesson from a madman who abandons her while he takes a baseball bat to another driver's spiffy red convertible. --Tom Keogh
