It's always a party when Bob the Builder is around--even when he has work to do! In "Bob's Birthday," he thinks everyone's forgotten his big day, but Wendy has a surprise in store for him: a party. In "Bob's Big Surprise," he decides to treat Wendy to a surprise of her own when he builds a backyard garden while she's away. In "Bob's Day Off," he attempts to enjoy some time off to do a little bird watching, but duty won't stop calling. In "Buffalo Bob," he makes plans to compete in a line-dancing contest with Mavis. Wendy wishes she could go, too, and when Mavis sprains her ankle, she gets her chance. This 45-minute program includes four mini-adventures: short skits on manners, recycling, and other topics. Celebrate with Bob encourages children aged 3 to 6 to take responsibility seriously, to show respect for others--and to have fun! --Kathleen C. Fennessy
