She made her U.S. film debut opposite Eddie Murphy playing Veronica 'Ronnie' Tate in the 1997 comedy Metro. Before becoming big in the Film and TV, she used to present Children's TV on Saturday mornings with former Blue Peter presenter Stuart Miles. Carmen is a member of MENSA, the high IQ organization.
