Fox + Firefly Cast = Doom?

1. Firefly (2002)

So what if it has an oddball genre? I never would have thought that a space western could hold a lot of promise but it did. Shame on you Fox for not treating Firefly better.

2. Wonderfalls (2004)

A quirky dramedy about a young woman who starts receiving messages from anamorphic items to make her do their bidding.

The Inside follows a team of investigators at the FBI's Violent Crime Unit. A much creepier and eminently superior tv show when compared to the more popular, Criminal Minds

4. Standoff (2006)

A pair of hostage negotiators deal with work and their budding romance. Okay so I only started watching this because of Ron Livingston. But the show really drew me in with the great mix of interesting characters and stories. So it was surprising to hear that Standoff had been cancelled.

Apparently it's The Fast and the Furious for television. Despite the good reviews, Drive was gone pretty quickly.

6. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008)

Though it got off to a slow start, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was a pretty decent show - expanding on the Terminator mythos in interesting ways.

7. Dollhouse (2009)

Interesting concept, great supporting cast but it never got good ratings. Actually this time I think the reason was because people didn't care about Echo (played by Eliza Dushku)

The Fox Network has a reputation for not giving shows a chance. I've noticed that a lot of Firefly cast members who appear on Fox shows tend to have short-lived series.

Some people have mentioned that the "curse" extends to other networks as well: Adam Baldwin in Daybreak (ABC), Jewel Staite in Stargate: Atlantis (NBC/SciFi), Morena Baccarin in V (ABC), Sean Maher in The Playboy Club (NBC), Summer Glau in The Cape (NBC)

Right now you can find Nathan Fillion on Castle (ABC), Morena Baccarin on Homeland (Showtime), Gina Torres on Suits (USA), Jewel Staite (CTV)

You could almost count Angel here, though it was already in the works to be Angel's last season...

I'm only including shows that ran after Firefly was canceled.
Angel being canceled had more to do with Fox screwing Joss Whedon over than the appearance of the other Firefly cast members.

I wish I could include SGA but it's an NBC show though my friend has been telling me, forget Fox, the Firefly curse seems to be spreading to other networks too - Adam Baldwin's Daylight on ABC was cancelled after 1 season.

I don't think everything the Firefly crew does is cursed.
You mentioned The Sarah Connor Chronicles but there is also Chuck which stars Adam Baldwin and that is still running.
