Betty Barstow worked as a secretary for Dan Hurley, a private investigator; yet, unbeknownst to him, she was also the Golden Age mystery woman know as the Silver Scorpion.

She fought alongside Invaders members against the Battle Axis and, in later years, joined the V Batallion.

She had no special powers but did wear special armor with weaponry at times.
