Taurus "Public Defender"

The Taurus Judge is a five shot revolver designed and produced by Taurus International, chambered for .410 bore shot shells and the .45 Colt cartridge. Taurus promotes the gun as a self-defense tool against carjacking and for home protection. The "Public Defender" model is chambered for .45LCP/410 (2.5"). Mine has the 2.5" barrel. Although it can chamber the .45 Long Colt, I never use this round. I bought this solely for "home defense" and its loaded with .410 gauge hollow point slugs and .410 gauge Winchester PDX rounds (3 discs and 12 BB's per shell). Because of it's short barrel the Taurus acts like a sawed off shotgun (legal of course) with the PDX round, with shot grouping/dispersion of 2 feet at 5 yards. Pretty awesome, considering this is a last line of defense weapon.
