Albert Wesker is the former chairman of Umbrella, holding regular meetings from his office in Tokyo via hologram, and heading the Umbrella Committee even during the Global T-Virus outbreak. Wesker, just like his game counterpart, serves as the primary antagonist of the film series, although he later becomes a supporting character in Retribution.
