Thomaston Dam 9/8/13

The front face of the dam, looking north and showing the intake structure. I have seen this dam hold back 60 feet of water, which puts it about half full. To get an idea of what that means, you'd be looking at mostly water. This damn is about 1600 feet above sea level.
