He wanted Sharon to star as the lead in Rosemary’s Baby, but felt he couldn’t suggest her as they were dating at the time. After Bob Evans suggested Mia Farrow for the role, Roman met with her at The Daisy nightclub, and was so impressed with her abilities that he hired her without a screen test. Sharon and Mia went on to become close friends during this time period.
There is also rumours that Sharon starred as an extra in this film, but there is no proof of it anywhere.
