In Holland in 1990 a hybrid white tulip was developed and named after Audrey Hepburn, as a tribute to the actressโs career and to her longtime work on behalf of UNICEF, according to the Netherlands Flowerbulb Information Center.
The dedication ceremony took place at her childhood home Huis Doorn, Holland which had since been the home of Wilhelm II before becoming the national museum and heritage site it remains today.
