ACID QUEEN legendary @TinaTurner in the Azzaro dark crocheted mini-dress through the lens of Jack Robinson for @voguemagazine in a dynamic studio session in New York on November 25, 1969. She had greatly expanded her audience that year by playing as the opening act for The Rolling Stones. Robinson was a photographer for Vogue until the early 70s. At that time he was shooting for the "People are Talking About" a feature that profiled up-and-coming personalities in arts, entertainment and politics, under iconic style editor Carrie Donovan. Tina was dressed by Loris Azzaro on almost all of her appearances from the late 60โs to the mid 70โs including the iconic chain and crocheted dress that instantly became one of her strongest style signature.
