Review of The Voices

Ryan Reynolds is awesome. I watched the trailer and thought this looked quite darkly funny. At first the trailer seemed like it would be a musical seeing as the title and it stars Anna Kendrick. It's kind of like Dr. Dolittle mixed with a serial killer. It's pretty cool that all the animal voices are also Ryan Reynolds. It's a different kind of Jacki Weaver here as she isn't her typical vindictive cruel character here. I imagine if cats could really talk they would definitely be evil foul mouthed little creatures while dogs would be much kinder simpletons. It has one scene that was musical which I thought was kind of hilarious given that the title made you wonder. I feel like this is an origin story for Deadpool lol. Well it obviously isn't, but the characters are very similar. It was a pretty humorous watch. I liked how he is blinded from reality because of his mental instability. It was definitely not what I expected, but it kept my attention from start to finish.
