Review of Titanic

Titanic is the story of Rose and Jack, separated by class, who fall in love on the "Titanic". Unfortunately, the ship hits an ice berg and Rose and Jack become the two unluckiest people in the world. And the rest is history. The beginning half was kind of boring. It was a sappy love story, the scenes dragged out for too long and the acting was borderline over-acting. It was still pretty good though. I would give the beginning half 70% or 80%. But then the second half just blew my mind. It had great suspense, action, special effects. The second half could have been released on it's own, and been filed as a disaster film (HISTORIC disaster film). The second half I give a perfect 100%. Is it the greatest film ever made? No, definitely not. It's too cliched and predictable. But it still is a damn good movie. I highly recommend it to anyone who has three and a half hours to spare. 8.5
