Oh What A Shocker

A classic example of the absolute crap they will play late at night on telly. After watching this for an hour I have no idea what compelled me to watch it for that long. Honestly, it's like watching something that you want to look away from but you just can't no matter how hard you try. The Leprechaun, which I suppose was meant to inspire fear in viewers, was just laughable. Was his 'wit' and his 'powers' (his powers being that he could make anything disappear or appear etc) meant to make us fear him? Oh I'm quivering in my boots. Ahem... I'm being sarcastic obviously.
You'd think that after a team of space marines 'kill' this leprechaun on some planet they were exploring and then he regenerates himself on their ship (from the groin of one of the men) that they'd realise "Oh guns and grenades can't kill him". Needless to say they were that dumb.
The dialogue was hilarious and the acting was just atrocious.
Definitely one of those garish 'horrors' that could pass as low brow comedy.
Needless to say I didn't see the end and I'm not sad about that.
