One of the strong contender of Oscar's this year. High Five, a wonderful two hours drama, "Argo" the movie directed by Ben Affleck, is so brilliantly crafted that it’s hard to believe it’s based on true events that occurred during Iran’s Islamic Revolution.
The movie set in Tehran, the year 1979, in post revolution in Iran. An emotional mob of angry, distressed Iranians, who were demanding handover of exiled Shah Iran in political asylum, for subsequent trial and possible death sentence for the atrocities committed in his era, overtaken the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979, over 50 American employees were taken as hostage. Six diplomats managed to escape and find refuge in the home of the Canadian ambassador, risking the security of both countries and the lives of everyone involved.
The movie is about the rescue mission planned for the safe evacuation of these six diplomats, before the Iranian revolutionary guard came to know about the existence of missing personnel. How the whole scheme works is better to be watched.
The movie is quite brilliant and strongly recommended for movie lovers.
