A good movie

Honestly, I thought it was rather disappointing. Indeed, since I really enjoyed 'Shaun of the dead', and after seeing this badass poster, I thought it would be awesome but, honestly, I don't think it was really that impressive. I mean, I did like it, that's for sure but I was expecting more. I loved the British humor and Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were both completely hilarious but, unlike 'Shaun...' which was a spoof but also a decent zombie flick, I was missing here some cool action scenes but they never came, unfortunately. In my opinion, it is a very good comedy combined with a very lame action movie (in fact, it is actually more a slasher than an action flick) and it would have worked better if the action scenes really kicked some ass. Still, it was a fun comedy, I especially loved the beginning when you find out that, this time, Simon Pegg is not a loser like in โ€˜Shaun of the Deadโ€™ but in fact, a great cop and there was an impressive cast (Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Bill Nighy, Timothy Dalton, Jim Broadbent, Paddy Considine, Cate Blanchett, Steve Coogan). Eventually, even though I usually don't like parodies, this one was really fun and I really liked it. To conclude, even though I think it is rather overrated, it is still an entertaining comedy and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you enjoyed 'Shaun of the dead'.
