Review of October Rust

This is my favourite album by this group and I think it will be until this group is finished. It's such a solid release and the only negative I can say about is the stupid Prologue and Epilogue. I also don't care to much for the track My Girlfriend's Girlfriend to much. Kinda lame with lame lyrics and filled with lameness all around. I have a bit of goth in me and this album is filled with gothness and the lyrics for most of the tracks all speak to me in a special way somehow. October is my favourite month as well so this has even more of a special place in my black heart. I remember buying this album because I heard the epic track Haunted on the The Blair Witch Project compilation and fell in love with it right away. I won't go into a track by track review but most of them on hear are pretty chill for metal, which is good for this type of music, and the guitar is perfect. I'm a hugh fan of synth and keyboards and there's lots of that in this album too. I would personally recommend this as a first album for this group to newcomers.
