I have tried to watch this several times, but something always comes up. So this time I will finally be able to watch this distraction free. This is written and directed by Neil Marshall who hasn't made an awful movie yet. This even has a few excellent cast members like Sean Pertwee and Liam Cunningham. Anyways it's time to see how this is finally. I'm so satisfied that I finally got around to this one. Despite it being over ten years old it holds up fairly well. The creature designs were pretty good. The gore effects were well done. All the characters were interesting enough to make you care what happened to them. There were a few twists I didn't see coming which was good. That Matrix reference was amusing. In fact there were some great moments of comedy mixed in here and there. I loved the fight scenes. You normally don't see that kind of thing so when it happened here it was badass. Anyways it's definitely a must see for fans of werewolf stories.
