Review of The Purge: Election Year

So I have been following this series since it first came out. I think I watched the first one on a group trip if I remember correctly. I was slightly disappointed with that only because it didn't give me what I wanted. The second one is way better in that it actually did what I was hoping the first one would. It showed the mayhem of the night. So with this I am pretty excited to see how it all rounds about. I'm also excited because James DeMonaco who has been here from the start is still helming it. The masks are always super creative and fun to look at. This is an interesting start. Why can't we have a major wonderful choice this year like Charlie Roan. Leader Caleb is one twisted dude. Wow that guy has lost his mind. Glad they made it so no one is above the "law" here. She is right though. Murder Tourists is a twisted and disturbing new addition to the series. We are definitely going to be seeing those two "lovely" ladies again later. They are definitely trouble makers. Oh well then I didn't see that coming lol. This Purge has barely started and already there have been some interesting and disturbing little bits. I just knew it. That Christmas lights thing actually looks pretty cool and they have some cool masks. Doing some crazy shit over some crazy shit. Dang those are some serious headshots. Those tattoos are insane. I like to see a few aspects of the Purge that they didn't include for the other films. That Lady Liberty mask design is so frigging cool. Ah these are all of those murder tourists. Well I wasn't expecting it to go like that. Holy crap I love Laney! That was too cool! Okay I liked the route they took with that scene. That scene made me think of the crazy traps they had set up in the final Hunger Games. The New Founding Fathers are some serious psychopaths. Well then that didn't go as planned. I can't believe they killed that one off! The way it ended seemed like a slightly possibility for another one. Honestly though I kind of hope they don't. I don't want them to kill the series. There were some great scenes throughout. There were also a lot of unexpected turns. I had a lot of fun once again with this. I still prefer the second overall, but this was a good follow up. If you liked the other ones you will like this one as well.
