A good movie

Since I kept hearing good things about this flick, I was really eager to watch it. To be honest, I'm not usually a big fan of those cheesy 80's action movies. I mean, some of them are decent but most of them are rather underwhelming, in my opinion. However, I have definitely a weak spot for this one. Indeed, first of all, there was the mighty Rutger Hauer in all his greatness and, only for his performance, you ought to yourself to check this one out. Obviously, the story was just really preposterous but I thought it was entertaining enough and it kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. One of my fellow Listal friends compared this movie with Hitchcock's work in his review but that's a little bit exagerated... I mean, it is a fun piece of trash but that's it, nothing less but nothing more either and without Rutger Hauer who managed to get a lot from a very limited concept, I’m afraid the whole thing would have been pretty lame. To conclude, I thought it was a fun movie to watch and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
