In Armenia, Greta Thunberg condemns Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing and repression

Greta Thunberg and a group of Armenian environmentalists held a rally today near the UN building in Yerevan to condemn countries and politicians that are participating in COP29 in Azerbaijan.

In a speech, Thunberg said that it should not be possible for a state like Azerbaijan to commit ethnic cleansing, face no consequences, and become the host of global environmental events.

The group of activists delivered their letter to the UN Armenia office.
