She played Zac Efron’s love interest in “Dirty Grandpa,” and now young actress Zoey Deutch is in “Everybody Wants Some!!” the new film from “Boyhood” director Richard Linklater set in the 1980s. Since Deutch wasn’t born until 1994, she says Linklater gave her a stack of music CDs to help her research, but she didn’t know what to do with them: “My computer doesn’t even have a disc drive.”
