Kacey Louisa Barnfield (born 14 January 1988) is an English actress who now splits her time between Los Angeles and London, working for both the UK and US market.

Barnfield began appearing in advertisements and stage plays when she was just 9, but soon won her first major acting role as school-ground bully Maddie Gilks in the long-running BBC drama Grange Hill, where she remained a central character for over five years.

After leaving the show, she went on to appear in the British film Popcorn, featuring alongside Jodi Albert and Jack Ryder, and then made a guest-appearance in the popular Sky1 football drama Dream Team.

Other work quickly followed, including regular spots in the prime-time dramas Casualty and The Bill, and also appearing in numerous advertisements for products ranging from Galaxy chocolate to the skincare brand Clean & Clear.

In 2009 and 2010 she appeared in the Channel 4 sitcom The Inbetweeners, before making her theatrical film debut in Resident Evil: Afterlife, a 3-D action film which topped the box office chart in 2010 as part of the highly successful franchise starring Milla Jovovich.

Barnfield played lead roles in two horror films the following year, Lake Placid 3 and Roadkill, then won a part in Jeremy Leven's French-based romantic-comedy Girl on a Bicycle.

In June 2011, Variety magazine announced that she would be starring in Glutton, a '3D psychological thriller' directed by the actor David Arquette, and co-starring Abraham Benrubi and Patricia Arquette.

Barnfield's next roles were as female leads in Sy-Fy Channel's fantasy adventure film Jabberwock opposite Battlestar Galactica's Tahmoh Penniket, and the British film Green Street Hooligans opposite martial arts actor Scott Adkins.

In 2014, Barnfield was cast in two indie films by auteur filmmaker Michael Worth. Seeking Dolly Parton is a comedy drama centered around a lesbian couple who decide to use an ex-boyfriend as a sperm donor, and Enchanting the Mortals is a love story dealing with the hardships of an idyllic relationship being pulled into reality. Both are currently in post-production.

Other feature films still in post-production include the thrillers Welcome to Curiosity and Blood Orange, in which she co-stars alongside the rock star Iggy Pop.
