This is an early birthday tribute to Sandra Dee. I think this song by Paul Anka really sums up the feel of how many young boys of that era thought about Sandra Dee, not to mention the films of hers I featured prominently where her characters and the young men they fell in love with was reflected. Featured are of course her three huge hit films of 1959, "Gidget", "A Summer Place" and "Imitation Of Life", along with "Portrait In Black" (1960) and the movie on which she met the love of her life, Bobby Darin, "Come September" (1961). I featured some clips of the other lucky young guys who got to work with her on those pictures. Anyway, hope you all enjoy it!
