One of the original tracks on Johnny's first Greatest Hits album, 1958, (the first Greatest Hits album ever released by any artist - also a hit 45" single, on the flip side of "Wonderful, Wonderful", 1958). Johnny's sensitivity and ability to ooze romanticism and melancholy into a song makes indelible impressions here. To my ears - this is a very 'sweet' song. Johnny's voice is sweet, 'velvet' as it's been called, alluring. Listen at 41-42" - when he sings "she breathes a sigh of sadness"-- you'll hear the elongated breath, here, and in several other places in the piece. Listen 'in' with headphones - you'll find yourself 'sighing' as well..... Enjoy.
