We recently sat down with the lovely Zoe Kazan, lead actress and screenwriter from RUBY SPARKS, and chewed the fat about how the idea for the film came to her, writing for herself (and boyfriend/leading man Paul Dano) and the film industry's fascination with the "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" trope (people, DO NOT call her a "Manic Pixie Dream Girl").
