A small tribute video made for the lovely, talented but very underrated Virginia Mayo. She is also one of my favorite actresses. D
There are almost no videos for her on YT so I just had to make one.
After a short career in vaudeville, Mayo continued her career as a dancer, then signed a contract with Samuel Goldwyn and appeared in several of Goldwyn's movies.
In 1947 she married Michael O'Shea and would remain with him until his death in 1973.
She got some of the best reviews of her career for her role in White Heat (1949). She worked extensively during the 1950s, but after this her appearances were fewer. While she also appeared in musicals, her singing voice was always dubbed.
I do not own the pictures, clips or song used in the video.
This is for entertainment purposes only.
