Julie Andrews (Aged 13) Sings for King George VI in 1948 [HD]. Julie Andrews sings the British National Anthem at the 1948 Royal Command Performance at London's Palladium. She runs on in front of Danny Kaye wearing a white A-frame dress and begins to sing, the audience join in.
This was the 1st November 1948, the evening was held in the presence of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother). The show was presented by Val Parnell.
