MIRANDA KERR We're here today celebrating the Victoria's Secret swim line . . . .
Miranda Kerr is excited for bikini season! The Victoria's Secret model posed on top of a pool at Beverly Hill's Thompson Hotel yesterday alongside her fellow angel Candice Swanepoel for the latest VS Swim Collection. And even though the women kept covered up in crochet tops due to the brisk weather, they were happy to chat swimwear with our own PopSugar editor Lindsay Miller who found out how they keep fit.
LINDSAY MILLER Miranda said she did yoga when she was pregnant with Flynn to stay in shape, and now that he's a little older, he's joining in too.
MIRANDA "I made sure I did a lot of walking throughout my pregnancy and I did yoga pretty much every day, and I think that had a very good effect on him as well, because he's a pretty calm baby."
LINDSAY Is he getting into any yoga poses yet?
MIRANDA Yeah, he does downward dog [laughs].
LINDSAY Candice said that getting ready for the annual Victoria's Secret runway show still gives her a little bit of anxiety.
LINDSAY For someone who has to wear in a bikini in a week, what's your secret to getting ready fast?
CANDICE "It makes my heart race even when you talk about it now, and it's only in November. Probably 10 days before, I'm trying to work out twice a day and doing anything I can to fit it in before the show, because you know, the whole world is watching you, and you just want to look your best."
The women show off their bikini bodies in several looks from the new Victoria's Secret campaign, modeling everything from animal print two pieces to polka dots, and they kept busy yesterday promoting the swimwear with the photo call and a Q&A later in the day. So when they need a break from work, where do they go?
MIRANDA We like to stay at home just chill out, I like to cook . . . Sometimes I'll cook a roast chicken because Orlando really likes that.
CANDICE I like to go to Brazil actually. Any chance I get I go to Brazil. That's why I'm so excited to launch the swim collection, because it is inspired by Brazil and just not being afraid to show off your body. You go down there, and there are women so comfortable.
LINDSAY Of course, just feeling good about themselves.
CANDICE Exactly.
This weekend Miranda will be shifting her focus to another cause close to her heart — earth hour. The model mom told us she'll be participating by having a candlelit dinner with friends.
