Laurent (Cyrille Thouvenin) is not being honest about being gay, he's trying to keep it a secret from his family who proved to be less than accepting with his cousin whom they ostracised. Laurent falls in love with Cedric (Stephan Guerin-Tillie) a confident scientific researcher who doesn't want to hide their relationship and wants Laurent to come out to his family which results in a rift that Cedric's mother (Eva Darlan) tries to heal by revealing Laurent's sexuality to his family.
This is not a melodrama but a sensitively told and beautifully acted story about honesty and acceptance.
