When it comes to major milestones, Miranda Kerr told reporters today that she has hit the mother lode this year.
"It's the best thing I've ever done, I just feel so lucky to have such a wonderful and healthy child."
Not only is she overjoyed over seven-month-old Flynn, she and husband Orlando Bloom just marked their first wedding anniversary last month.
"we just had a romantic night out the two of us, he took me to dinner."
Editor Miranda has so many things to celebrate this year, but she is also keeping a busy work schedule. She's been in Australia since late last month and has been walking the runway and making in store appearances for high end retailer David Jones.
Today, Miranda was in Melbourne working a printed top and pencil skirt. Baby Flynn wasn't with her, but he was still a popular subject during backstage interviews, where she shared two intimate mother-son photos.
Miranda explained that when it comes to her own fashion, she's always tried to keep it comfortable, but even more so now that she's a mom.
The model mother also said dad Orlando Bloom is a big help when it comes to their baby boy.
"he does everything so I am very lucky in that regard."
In addition to his son and one-year anniversary with Miranda, Orlando has another reason to celebrate in 2011. The Three Muskateers is set to hit theaters in October and new pictures show him all decked out for the period piece.
