CREATE YOUR OWN REVOLUTION

PROVOCATION AND AUDACITY IN THE NEW EL BOTÓN-MANGO FASHION AWARDS CAMPAIGN

MANGO, which has always been characterised for not holding back in its campaigns and surrounding itself with top models, has once again come up trumps with a true star Andrej Pejic, one of the most sought-after models of the moment and the muse of top designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier. The much sought-after model is in fact a man, and this combination is precisely what has made him the most in-demand model by the world's top fashion houses and fashion magazines.

The aim of this campaign is to demonstrate the characteristic ambiguity of the model, in order to communicate a key message to the young designers "create your revolution", a call for them to become true revolutionaries of fashion, forms, colours, trends, etc.

The El Botón-MANGO Fashion Awards offers the contestants the opportunity to present their collections before a prestigious jury and compete for 300,000 euros in prize money, the biggest prize in its category. To date, with the three previous editions, the brand has invested a total of 4 million euros, an investment which demonstrates the Spanish chain's major commitment towards young designers.

In the previous editions, the different juries of the El Botón-MANGO Fashion Awards have had three outstanding chairmen, the acclaimed designers Valentino, Oscar de la Renta and Jean Paul Gaultier. They were given the task of handing over awards to the Belgian duo of Sandrina Fasoli and Michaël Marson, winners of the first edition, the South Korean Lee Jean Youn, the winner of the second edition, and the Belgian of Israeli origin, Helena Lumelsky, the outstanding winner of the last edition.

Following on from the success of the previous editions, the el Botón-MANGO Fashion Awards has achieved major recognition within the industry, particularly among new fashion designers. MANGO is therefore continuing to position itself as a creative brand which is committed to design and young fashion talent, by helping them realise their dreams.
