This was transferred from a 35mm trailer I acquired many years ago. As well as the obvious voice dubbing, the trailer also features subtitles! Our Australian ways must have been really difficult to comprehend back then, it's almost as if this were a foreign language film being promoted.
I would assume this was the trailer played to US audiences, and the alternate Mad Max trailer that I uploaded earlier was probably an international one (if anyone actually knows, feel free to drop me a line). The original 35mm film to this still bears all the NSS markings and numbers, so this was certainly played to US audiences at some stage.
