NHK's English program for worldwide broadcast. Bringing often-neglected aspects of the Japanese society and culture into light, the entire program is a complete breakaway from stereotyped images of Japan and its people.
The program covers a wide range of topics including traditional culture, seasonal foods and customs, everyday life, latest fads and fashion trends. Internationally active guests are invited to the studio to share their own Japanese experiences and speak on Japan as they see it.
