I know it's for kids, but good lord is it so much fun! Like, imagine the dumbest films Steven Seagal has ever made and put in John Rambo to do his usual stuff. Because it's for kids there's shitton of stupid humor and moral lessons and some of the most awful one-liners I have ever heard in my life. The action is so over the top it's awesome, like Rambo sinks every damn battleship and shoots down p... read more

Description: In the cartoon, John Rambo was part of a G.I. Joe-like team called "The Force of Freedom." They went on missions around the world battling against a paramilitary terrorist organization named S.A.V.A.G.E. (short for Specialist-Administrators of Vengeance, Anarchy and Global Extortion). Fictional countries and back-stories would frequently be featured, some of them echoing historical or current events. The cartoon was filled with hand-to-hand combat and gunfire, with accurately-illustrated guns; yet unlike the original R-rated films, there was never any sensational violence, blood or gore, since this series was int ... Because it's for kids there's shitton of stupid humor and moral lessons and some of the most awful one-liners I have ever heard in my life. The action is so over the top it's awesome, like Rambo sinks every damn battleship and shoots down planes and even nuclear missiles, but because of censorship nobody ever hits anything with their guns or gets hurt. That's because the people who made the show realized that there's a fine line between violence and action and that's how they could go extreme with the latter without breaking any rules.

The best (and most bonkers) episode in the whole series is the one where a group of inte” read more

"11.1. Terrorists have kidnapped the Santa Claus! Rambo: The Force of Freedom is one of the most over the top and insane cartoons ever made. The people who made this thing understood the fine line between action and just violence, and using that idea they managed to create something truly intense and crazy without actually breaking any rules of television entertainment. You guys don't have a faintest idea how entertaining and balls out insane this cartoon is. There's so much testosterone and a"

"It's an animated Sly Stallone as John Rambo. No Sly didn't do the voice BUT this cartoon wouldn't look like this, if it wasn't based on Sly's live action portrayal of that character."
