Kappa Mikey Reviews

Kappa Mikey, like Perfect Hair Forever, is an anime parody. Unlike PHF, this is family-oriented. Fish-out-of-water American up-and-comer Mikey Simon wins a contest for the "LilyMu" show, and ends up one of the biggest stars in Tokyo. His castmates include the jealous prima donna Lily, potential love interest Mitsuki, tiny costume-bound director Guano, and the big lovable lummox Gonard. The LilyMu Five go through a lot of hilarious escapades, some of them you might have seen before in other shows and movies, but are still funny. The anime-inspired humor is the icing on this cake. Chibifying, sweat-drops, the works, all of them that makes this show a decent parody at the least, but a pretty good one at best.
