Note: This long ass review has major spoilers about events present in the second episode and some other minor ones Deca-Dence was the best anime from last year for me, at least outside of sequels. Deca-Dence was the best anime from last year for me, at least outside of sequels. And saying that is kinda weird since outside of Japan not that many people gave it a chance and among those that did give it a chance, many people dropped it within the first two episodes. Heck, I wasn’t even planning to watch it because of the premise and the previous works made by its studio, I watched it two times and even I think is not that big of a deal either, which says a lot about what I think of anime from last year.
