Beaver Falls review

This show is super cute, I haven't even finished watching it and I knew it deserved a review.

It's British but takes place in California, so if you're anything like me and can't keep up with smart, British shows because of the accent, this one won't be as much of an issue. Only the three main guys have accents.

Sam Robertson plays Flynn, the lead. He's got ALS and as a last ditch effort to make the most of his life he and his two best friends go to America to work at a summer camp. They get stuck being counselors to the "chunk bunk" a group of overweight outcasts who truly make the show.

Flynn is a little of a womanizer and chases girls. Barry, played by Jon Dagleish, immediately falls for Kimberley, although she has a boyfriend, Jake, and he tries to get her the whole time. A-Rab falls for Rachael, the good girl christian, and they become a couple even though he's not over his ex Sima.

Honestly, the love triangles are great but second to the boys of the chunk bunk. You have one who thinks he's ghetto even though his name is Hilary. You have Jizz who is a chronic masturbator that doesn't speak. Brandon, who used to be in the jock bunk but gained a ton of weight and is now with the fat group (check his new look in season 2). Thurston is adorable as well.

Season 2 changes it up a little bit. The show started out as a miniseries, and had a definite ending after the first 6 episodes but they decided to continue it for another season. A few of the character don't come back (it kind of ruins the chunk bunk) but many are back for more fun.
