Once was a hugh fan of shows like Lost, Heroes, 24 and so on. But I'm tired of this weekly entertainement with no substance. Like to watch back-to-back and I'll get tired with shows which concentrate on the effect of a single episode. I've to love them as a complete work...although BSG is a little bit out of line ;-)

I like dear john.

I'm a big 24 fan and fan of the Office. I like watching Dexter when my roommates have it on. Family Guy, the Simpsons, and a lot of Sportscenter and the news.

The Simpsons is my all-time favourite. Also I like Pasila (The Police Station) and Hell's Kitchen (the US version, one of the only awesome reality shows). I also hate animes, but Fullmetal Alchemist is a rare expection.

The Simpsons may be my all time favorite, but it hasn't been truly great in about 10 years. These days, it's CSI, The Bing Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Two and a Half Men for me.

Right now i,m watching Big Bang Theory and Reba Tv Show..

My favorite show on TV right now has to be Justified. It has only had four episodes so far, but they have all been great. And Timothy Olyphant makes everything better.

My fav TV-show is absolutely Frasier. I just love its witty humor. After that comes Sopranos. I was so sad when it ended.

Big Bang Theory, the only show for geeks like us ;-)

Desperate Housewives!! I love it, it's so much fun :D

glee, burn notice, in plain sight, v, vampire diaries.

I enjoyed both seasons of Legend of the Seeker. I watched them all in english cause I don't like german syncs most of the time.. Although I am German.. Pretty odd isn't it?

Additionally I watched Vampire Diaries (I know many people don't like it, but in my opinion it's pretty cool.)

I also like anime.. Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Tales of the Abyss & Soul Eater are just some of the anime I watch at the moment.

The American ones I'm enjoying for the moment are:

TV has gotten pretty bad and there aren't many new shows I like. The two shows I never miss are 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'Criminal Minds'. I also like 'How I Met Your Mother' and 'Modern Family' (No I don't work for CBS). The shows I really love are mostly re-runs of canceled shows like 'Twin Peaks' and 'Dead Like Me'.

I know how you feel Alabama1971. They cancel my favorites all the time and one of them was "Dead Like Me".

I watch a few others but those are the top 3.

Don't watch much TV because too much advertising. Prefer DVDs. However, in New Zealand we're reasonably lucky; besides strong local content we mainly get a mix of British and American stuff.

Having said that, I have generally gone off American content because of their predilection to cancel (e.g. Battlestar Galactica [weep]) when they can't take the heat of competition from 'reality' shows (and we all know what a misnomer that term is). Which confirms that TV is generally geared to the lowest common denominator (long-live BBC).

Doctor Who...The X-Files...they're probably my two favorites.
I've just begun watching Fringe and Orphan Black...loving both immensely so far.

Orphan Black is great. I honestly didn't expect much from it but, to quote, "holy shite".

Elementary, Grimm, also Defiance seems ok so far.

House of Anubis for sure. It may seem like a show for younger people but it is actually amazing and everyone should watch it!

I don't know about the US, but they do show "Der Alte" in Italy, under the title "Il commissario Herzog".
