What are your favorite TV shows right now?

Hmmm. I've largely come to the conclusion that most TV is rubbish - of my top 10 shows, 6 of them've been axed (that's the British word for "cancelled" for the uninitiated!). I do tend to keep track of South Park and Peep Show where possible though, and recently watched through Heroes, which was worth my time. Think the next thing on my hitlist to watch is the American version of The Office - I've heard it's worthwhile, so thought I'd take a look.

Most TV shows are bad as Phil said.
But I have watched that I can't wait to come back is Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice, and The IT Crowd.
Other then those I'm content with my IPTV shows and podcasts.

Since I have no direct TV access at the moment I'm only keeping up with a couple "new shows" because of restrictions. My list right now is Skins (because the second season is looking better than the first and once I start watching something I like to know what happens), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (because my friend is an addict) and Family Guy (because, well, it rocks). Other than that I'm making my way through the odd anime series my friends recommend me (makes for good study breaks) and not a lot else.

I'm looking forward to being able to catch up on stuff I've missed these last few months. I'm a sucker for the biggies: Since I've missed the newest seasons of Lost, Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty (and of course all of Heroes) I'm looking to catch up with them in the summer somehow, but for now I'm actually contented just to sit back and ignore most of the TV world. Phil is mostly right on the statement that most TV sucks, but it still manages to reel me in when I least expect it.

Anyone into Dexter?

I don't watch much TV (actually hate almost all 1hr drama-esque shows, only watch certain comedy shows) but Dexter has me hooked. I love how he finally got back at his psycho ex girlfriend.

Oh I love Dexter....my friend works for FX (english fox) and got me onto it.

The only shows that are still on for me to watch at the moment are Lost, South Park and Jericho. Everything else is on hiatus or dead!

South Park has seen better seasons but I will remain loyal as it has that ability to surprise you.

I hate the fact that the producers are just waiting to pull the plug on Jericho. It makes me so mad!

Lost will always be around....forever.

Voxy, you have similar tastes as me, and I too hate most of what's on TV, so you owe yourself a favor and snag 'Dexter' episodes off the net. Start at season 2, episode 8 or 9 and go from there. great show, i think you'd enjoy it.

One way to know its good is its based on a series of novels, not on some lame re-hashed scripts.

Right now is Gossip Girl, Lipstick Jungle and Lost.

at least its just start of 3rd season, so its easy to catch up. (i plan on watching season 1 as well - only seen *most* of season 2, but nothing from season 1)

not like trying to get caught up to the Sopranos :)

Well the only show I actually make a point to watch is Lost. Although, honestly, I am getting kind of tired of it right now.

i like bleach,death note, and flava of love 3 basically and any other kool shows i see

umm, Family Guy, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Jonny Bravo, Friends, Seinfeild (sp?), Reba, Still Standing, Myth Busters, Dirty Jobs, Futur Weapons, and How It's Made.

MythBusters are nice and so is Vandread,Rave and Ouran Host Club

Pushing Daisies and House, sometimes Heroes. All of them are currently airing where I live.

I also really like British comedy so I try to watch as much of it as I possibly can (DVDs and YouTube are my friends, and we have BBC Prime). \o/

I love Fullmetal Alchemist, Family Guy, Who's Line is it anyway, and Everybody Loves Raymond.

Mostly I watch TV randomly and it's mostly on as background noise as I surf the Internet.

My favorite TV shows Balls of Steel (just makes me laugh all the time the pranks are great on it and the show is just really worth checking out if you have not seen it), Robot Chicken, Shameless, Skins (i really enjoy the show because it is like real life and the acting in the show is spot on), Eastenders, Coronation Street, Spaced (i really got into that show it is one that is worth seeing and it's one i can watch over and over with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost they really make it worth watching.)

Hmm...I like Grey's Anatomy, Dancing with the Stars, Lost, Pushing Daisys, Samantha Who?, How I Met Your Mother, Numb3rs, Monk, Kyle XY, Greek, The Bachelor, So You Think You Can Dance?, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, House, America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, The Game.

No, I'm not addicted to TV. I just watch it on the net, so I watch it when I can.

Right now I'm really enjoying Pushing Daisies, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, CSI: New York and Bones. I've also just started watching Chuck which is interesting thus far.

Recently I have gained an interest in Crime/Detective Related shows, probably because I had to write a 22 page fictional story that was detective-ish, (It was just the prologue, but she wanted it to early...)
Basically anything on USA, such as Burn Notice, Monk, Law And Order, NCIS or whatever it's called, CSI,
then there is Scrubs and others on Comedy Central,
I still have a taste for animes, but I've already seen the ones that looked interesting, I'll just wait for the summer ones to come out(all the ones that were interesting come out Around School Time)

I have not yet seen Bones, but I want to...
I also enjoy those reality shows, lol man those people are total ******* lol!
Anyways, I haven't watched a lot of TV recently, I've been enjoying a program called Pivot

My Favorite shows are Charmed, Scrubs, family Guy possibly...I pretty much could wtach any show I do really like Monk as well.

Ah, Charmed is rather interesting, though not something I could watch a few times in a row, just a casual watch though
