I think I would cry harder if someone played Who Let The Dogs Out at a funeral.

okay, seriously people. lets just try to imagine this. would you really want some of these songs played at your funeral. this is the last song, the last sounds anyone will ever hear from you. would you really want them to hear "who let the dogs out?" and dude, i like pantera a lot, but "cemetery gates" is a bit obvious. i'm not trying to "dog" your choices, but try thinking about the words to the songs.

I'm probably interpreting the lyrics wrong, but they sound fine to me. Besides, my ears are ringing and throbbing so hard by the end of the song I stop caring.
I got a few more
Big Pun - Still not a Player
Big Pun - How we Roll
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
Iron Butterfly - Inna godda da vida extended version(as a joke maybe)
The Eagles - Hotel California
LL Cool J - Going Back to Cali (in case I die somewhere other than california)

I wish my family were rocking enough to let me play:
Rage Against the Machine - The Ghost of Tom Joad
at my funeral, but I don't want to be remembered as someone who is selfish! Seriously, a funeral is all about you, technically, but there's no way you can enjoy it. I'd definitely go for something a bit more subdued. I might force out the heartbreak by going for some Simon and Garfunkel - Sound of Silence, just so everyone remembers how great I was through a tsunami of tears!
If I could get away with it, I'd try for Radiohead - Reckoner too.

One, by Metallica.

Song to die to huh... Hmmm...
Maybe Completely, by Art of Dying...
For comedic purposes, if for some reason I die by spontaneous combustion, I'dlove to have Pardon Me by Incubus LOL
Time is RUnning Out by Muse...
Leave out all the rest by Linkin Park
Let me go by Three Doors Down
Cold, by Crossfade(Or Breaking Benjamin)
At My funeral by Sixx AM
Truthfully... I don't want them to play a bunch of depressing bullshit at my funeral so I can make people depressed, I want them to move on ASAP and not dwell on my death, Completely, just cuz I like that song :P, Pardon me is only if I combust, but that's cuz it'd be a last sick humorous joke by me, Time is Running Out would probably be the most depressing, Leave Out All The Rest would just be for them to remember me well and forget my wrongdoings... Let Me Go, the message isn't the song, but the title, just Let Me Go and don't dwell on it... Cold, same reason as Tori, I'm rather cold sometimes, in both ways(temperature and personality) and also because, as you've seen, I have a sick sense of humor, At My Funeral basically tells everyone not to cry, life is beautiful, and it ends beautifully too, so don't be depressed about it...

"When The Musics Over" THE DOORS

I'd want Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance. If you've never heard it it's about living and not being afraid of whats next. Hence the lyrics "I am not afraid to keep on livin', I am not afraid to walk this world alone." I'd also want the people that I love to keep living their lives and look the world in the face. "Honey if you stay I'll be forgiving, nothing you can say can stop me going home."

I honestly don't have much of a preference. Funerals are for the living and I'd like for whomever I'm survived by to choose a song that helps their grieving process.

I want people to cry at my funeral to baw their bloody eyes out.
Maybe something sad.... hmm I'll give it some thought.

Meat Loaf - Bat out of Hell. I want it to be like this.

"Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen. ;)

ego you or knights in white satin by Declan Galbraith;)
is the 1!!
is the 1!!

I think Remebering Sunday by all time low. Partially cause it's my fave but also because the whole song is about looking for this girl he loves but can't find because she has moved on and is somewhere above him in the clouds. It's just pretty and mellow.

I wanted "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" by Oasis, but I'm unsure.

I'd say "Dirt in the Ground" by Tom Waits.

Not that I've ever given this much thought or anything but...Top 5 soundtrack to my death:
"Given to Fly" by Pearl Jam-- If I were to die an epic, perhaps heroic, death.
"Doing the Unstuck" by The Cure-- Great energy and sentiment to go out on.
"A Warm Place" by Nine Inch Nails-- If I were to go out on a hospital bed somewhere I'd like it to be in the contemplative state this song demands.
"All the way to Reno" by R.E.M.-- Dunno, just like the way it fits.
"Goodnight Ladies"-- Lou Reed-- If I'm feeling like an irreverent smart-ass when the moment arrives.
