I notice that, in the above list, there are two threads, entitled simply 'Naruto', in two different groups - and since I compiled this list, there's a *third*. There's no excuse for this thread duplication. Of many of the remaining threads, most could be condensed into one or two, rather than the seemingly unending stream of tripe that's currently dogging the forums. Kids, got nothing against any of you personally, but this is getting *really* trying...

Here, here! I don't even bother going into this section anymore. I see some of the thread titles on the main page and just roll my eyes. I really could not be bothered with it anymore...

Judging by a few noticeable absenses from the boards recently, I don't think you're the only one... A shame, really.

I've been logging in to listal every day to see if something interesting is happening on the boards but I"m not sure I can take it anymore. I have no idea what Naruto is and I don't care. All I know is that it's making me NOT want to log in to listal anymore.

I'm finding this increasingly the case myself. That and the reams of inane crap like: 'Who's my friend', 'school', 'boys', ad nauseum...

Indeed. I'm quite glad that I don't have access at home at the moment so that I don't have to suffer the offence to my eyes of seeing all that tripe on the boards whenever I click "Groups" out of sheer boredom.

I don't see what the big deal is. I mean it's a forum for crying out loud! If you want to see some interesting threads, then make some, but there's no sense in having a nervous break down over it. It's true that there shouldn't be two threads with the exact same name about the exact same thing, but it's not the end of the world.

You may be able to solve a Rubik's Cube in 3 minutes (even if you sure as hell can't spell it), but you haven't really grasped the finer points of this thread. Firstly, my gripe isn't simply that a stray duplicate thread has popped up - these things happen, from time to time - and, secondly, it isn't that there *aren't* any more interesting threads, but that they're so quickly pushed down by the kids who seem to believe in quantity over quality with their threads (and the posts therein, too). Now, if you don't mind, I'll get back to my 'nervous breakdown'.

When you read a post - or anything, for that matter - do you always find it this difficult to sort the information contained therein in the right order of importance? Twice, so far, you've given relatively unimportant details disproportianate emphasis. To spell it out (as it were): Your spelling wasn't the focus of my post, but a throwaway remark to counter the glib toss within your previous post. But if *you* want to draw attention to it like this, and make an issue of it...

This is precisely the sort of insulting toss I found so objectionable about your first post, what with your nonsense about some 'nervous breakdown' (which exists nowhere but in your own addled mind). You're probably too stupid to see why that, and your strange assertion that I have 'thrown a fit over a few forum posts', is a little objectionable. It seems you can read about as well as you can spell, if you've construed my OP as either a 'nervous breakdown' or a 'fit'. Given that, and the fact you seem to miss the main point of the posts you comment on, prompts me to suggest you be *very* careful who you call an 'idiot' (I won't, for the moment, object to 'pompous', since I've long known others' cretinism brings that out in me). To sum up: I'm a little pissed off that I have, in quite a reasonable manner, drawn attention to something, which, as I see it, is a problem with the boards, and you've responded by making deregatory insinutions about me. as a long-time member and top points contributer, i too find the recent onslaught of 'naruta ninja' posts annoying as hell, and makes me less likely to use the forums on here because I get tired of sifting thru all the useless blah blah blah crap postings...

seriously, FFS, go to GROUPS home, and on first page, there are 95% ninja haru naruto threads, and 2 non-ninja haru naruta threads (of which one of those 2 is this one, bitching about the 95%). and its the same 3 or 4 people flooding every single thread.

Tom, help us out. the restructuring where we can block out useless threads from being displayed couldn't come soon enough. :)

to reply to this comment, the big deal is that it feels like the rest of us are in a crowded room with just a few folks yelling 'NARUTO NINJA!!!!' at top of their lungs, which makes it a lot less likely for the rest of us to have a real conversation about OTHER topics. I for one hate sifting thru 3, sometimes 4 or 5 pages of threads before i find one or two that are interesting enough to reply to. So bottom line, everyone (including myself) are pissed off because you're wasting our time, and preventing other threads to become visible and active. so I mean this with utmost respect, kindly, STFU...

Richard, I'm not 100% sure, but i'd like to see 'subscribed' groups, and the only get updates on main page from those groups I'm subscribed to. Then everyone can flood away their own respective focus group and not tick off everyone else. :)

This is pretty much what I'm hoping for, too. That, and an 'ignore' button on individual threads, would be ideal.

Ok, I get where you're coming from. It is a little ridiculous that there are so many Naruto threads flying out from every corner of the forums, but it really isn't that big of a deal. It shouldn't be enough to make you not want to go into the forums. And besides, it's a bunch of girls! They're absent-minded sometimes(no offense ladies). Tom said the forums were being fixed in a few days and we'll try to keep it down to one thread once it's fixed.

These are my views exactly. It's flooding of the boards, pushing other threads out of the way that's annoyed me, too.

I love Naruto just as much as any of you, but I'm not making zillions of threads. It's OK to like Naruto, but you've gotta draw the line somewhere.

i guess it is a little hard to find something non-naruto related on this site. cant we talk about something else for a change? naruto is pretty awsome but cant u just let all ur naruto feelings out somewhere else?

Thanks; I'm glad you can at least see where I (and others) are coming from with this. I'm not trying to be some pantomine villain, spoiling everyone's fun, but things are getting rather tiresome.
