Well then, here are a few from the back of one of my notebooks:

Haf-Life is about a scientist named Gordon Freeman who worked on a teleportation at Black Mesa but something goes awry and causes a major explosion and things from another dimension come through and you have to make it out.
Half-Life 2 continues the story were Gordon comes out of "sleep" and find the earth taken over by the population from the other dimension, which are known as the Combine.

It's a really great game that everyone should play.
Very well written, great gameplay, no cut scenes that breaks up the story, and it has lots of great mods.

Anhan..i see..interesting,, Half Life or Half Life 2..which one should i purchase at first..or should i like complete the series from the beginning itself??

I remembered a logo I actually like. This is the one used for the BBC's Bitesize revision website: Bitesize fish, of which there are many types, but my favourite has to be the History fish.
