What CD did you get last?

I bought two CDs almost three weeks ago:

Grace Jones latest album 'Hurricane'. The impressions after not too many listenings are good. Reggae, R&B, soul sounds and more, her not perfect but strong voice and very personal lyrics for all the songs by her. I love the booklet with photos of Grace Jones in a chocolate factory creating Graces from chocolate.

'Collected' the greatest hits album of Massive Attack. There were no surprises here. I adore Sly, Teardrop, Butterfly Caught, Live With Me, Unfinished Sympathy, Safe From Harm. I like almost all the songs of the collection, so I can't write bad things about this CD.

I actually bought vinyl - Ital Tek "Deep Pools" and Zomby "Digital Flora"

"Meibi bus home" by FM2000 and "Valleys of Neptune" by Jimi Hendrix. FM2000 is Finnish crazy, mixed-up metal and you know Jimi Hendrix already.

Both are good, but "Valleys of Neptune" is better because FM2000's album only lasts for 35 minutes.

Whites Stripes: Elephant

It is definitely a top 10 album of the decade!

Its been so long, but I guess Brand New Eyes by Paramore.

Eddie Vedder- Into the Wild soundtrack.

Tim Hecker - Radio Amor

Absolutely wonderful. 10/10. Very noisy but very soothing.

Ooh, gotta love Tim Hecker. I've yet to hear anything of his that isn't absolutely fantastic.

System of a Down - Toxicity (10/10)
Nirvana - Bleach (9/10)

SoaD and Nirvana are my favourite artists (amongst others :p). Toxicity was a little better than Bleach, but both kick ass.

We seem to be worlds apart-----the last music purchase i made was 2 cds of LADY ANTEBELLUM- since i live in the midwest/ U.S. and had not been exposed to much besides country--- Recently since i got my first laptop- i hear some other stuff on you tube. i like james blunt and even jason derulo-----

only two weeks later--i just bought 3 cds by ''five for fighting'' and ''lifehouse''-their first cd. i am discovering more new to me all the time---

The last C.D I bought was Pearl Jam Backspacer. I also bought Eddie Vedder's Into The Wild soundtrack.

From Amazon, Monoliths is one of my favorite records and the new Billy Woods album is pretty sweet. Sounds like early 2000s Def Jux material.

Got the soundtrack to Interstellar on CD a couple of days ago. Which is probably my first CD purchase in many years.

Went shopping around for CD's and Vinyl for record store day. Picked up some good stuff.
