What CD did you get last?

What's the latest CD you bought? Or LP or mp3 or cassette or anykind of "album" as they used to call it? Or if you downloaded it that's cool too... but beware: some people might frown upon you!!
Again, try not to answer with just the CD title (this ain't random chat, yunno) but tell your opinion as well. You can do this easily, by using adjectives (awesome, amazing...), descriptive nouns (suckfest), a rating scale (8/10, C-) or you can write a whole essay describing your feelings towards your latest brutal death metal purchase.

Last purchase would have been the new Twelve album - Houston We Have No Problem - last week. Unfortunately, I've not yet listened to the download, so can't comment on it's level of brilliance or awfulness yet. In fact, I've got the best part of 25-30 albums that I've purchased sitting around unlistened to at the moment - most of them ripped onto my computer, just waiting for me to get round to listening to them!

Demon Hunter - Storm the Gate of Hell
Pretty good but not as good as their last album.
I would give it a 7/10.

Lynyrd Skynyrd: Thyrty

The last two CDs I bought were The Budos Band and The Budos Band II. It's an "afro-soul" instrumental band on the Daptone label (of Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings semi-fame).
I'd give them an 8/10.
It makes awesome soundtrack music for driving fast, driving slow, walking with purpose, or sauntering about in a relaxed groove. Or dancing, if you're into that. Me, being white, not so much.

Oh, incidentally, last CDs were the last Arctic Monkeys and Funeral for a Friend albums. Both were going for under a fiver, so picked them up. Only new ones released in 2008 that I've listened to are British Sea Power's new album and the Eels 'best of' compilation - both of which come highly recommended by moi.
As I said above, lots still to listen to!

The last CD I purchased was in fact, the Sweeney Todd Soundtrack. I think you may have already guessed that I would give it a 10/10. Actually, more like 100000/10. But, I will not go on for hours about my love for that film and it's amazing soundtrack.
Seriously though, I hadn't bought a CD for a long, long time before Sweeney Todd. I usually build my music collection from downloading from iTunes, getting off friends etc... but the Sweeney Todd Soundtrack was just something that I needed (yes, needed) in the real 'album form'.

Just got three new CDs in the mail Saturday:
The Puppini Sisters - Betcha Bottom Dollar
The Puppini Sisters - The Rise and Fall of Ruby Woo
The Pipettes - We Are the Pipettes
The Puppini Sisters attempt to revive the 40's swing vocal harmony thing a la The Andrews Sisters. In fact, the Puppinis cover several of the The Andrews Sisters big hits ("Bei Mir Bist du Schön", "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", and "Heebies Jeebies"). They also do covers of stuff like as Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights", Blondie's "Heart of Glass", and Classic IV's "Spooky." Nothing groundbreaking here, but it's pretty fun stuff. 7/10.
I still haven't decided if I like the Pipettes or not...

Last CD I purchased came as an extra with my purchase of Eureka 7 Vol 12.
Eureka 7 Complete Best OST
Frankly, its the only reason I even bought the Special Edition DVD. Its some good Jpop/Jrock.

the last CD that i actually bought was From the Screen to Your Stereo, Vol. 2 by New Found Glory. i personally like it. though there were some songs i didn't really care for, a majority of it was really good. my favorites off of it are Kiss Me, Iris, and King of Wishful Thinking.

I bought two Kent cds which were on sale (2 for 15 euros): Tillbaka till Samtiden and Vapen & Ammunition. I like them both a lot, but Vapen & Ammunition is a bit better.
(btw, Kent is a Swedish rock band)

And Hell Yeah Ash Slipknot's new single sounds incredible!!
Hopefully the new album sounds as good as "Vol.3 The Subliminal Versus"

Three Days Grace - One X

That "One-X" was damn near flawless. Good pick Ricky Uchiha!

Last CD I bought was Plans by Death Cab for Cutie. It's cool because the album revolves a lot around death. Probably my third or fourth favorite Death Cab album.

Ty Mr. Lays ^^ oh and i just got the DualDisc Addition

brian eno's Another Green World

MSI

just bought a copy of Faith No More's Angel Dust.

Well, the last CD I bought was Cowboy Bebop OST 1. I've already got all seven, but I want the actual physical media because its just that cool. Last music I got was just about every recording of X-Japan, ever. Everything from singles to live bootlegs. took a few days, and a small chunk of drive space, but I got it.

Picked up a CD called Classics by Dave Angel for less than £2 off Amazon. Nice bargain.

Seasons by The Veer Union

The Trinity by Sean Paul

Most recent purchase was "Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi", Camera Obscura's second album. It's kinda bleh. Not unpleasant to listen to, just uninspiring. Their last album, "Let's Get Out of This Country", is miles ahead of "Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi", IMO. 6/10
The last CD before that "An Invitation" by Inara George and Van Dyke Parks. I reviewed it here. 8/10

The latest cd i've gotten would be...
Slipknot-All Hope Is gone.
Its an awesome cd with a great line up of songs. Im sure everyone has heard pyschosocia at the least. That is just one of twelve songs on this album. But that song isn't my favorite, my favorite would have to be snuff. The eleventh song. Its definitly one of their best songs, even though it isn't screamo style. I would give this album a 9/10.

Letters To Cleo - Go!. Finally got around to buying it :) As soon as I get paid then I'll be Metric - Live It Out. Which is epic.

Artist in the Ambulance by Thrice
many good songs including the artist in the ambulance, all that's left, stare at the sun, and the abolition of man

American Beauty by Grateful Dead. Classic album from Jerry Garcia and friends. Many classic songs, for example "Ripple", "Box of Rain" and "Truckin'".

Last week I picked up Funkify Your Life: The Meters Anthology. It's a 2 CD set, but the first CD is where it's at. This is some tight instrumental funk. It'll probably make it into my top 10 all-time list after a few more weeks with it.
I also bought Booker T & the MGs: The Definitive Soul Collection. Classic instrumental soul music. Gotta love it.
Finally, I got Burning Spear's "Social Living" album and the Adele's "19." Neither blew me away, but I'm warming up to them.

the last cds i were
The sctipt - the man who couldnt be moved
