Ross Cook was born in Newburyport, MA. He has four sisters and a brother. His family moved to Mandeville, LA in 1987 and have been there ever since. After graduating from high school he joined the Air Force where he served for eight years working as a crew chief on the F-15 Eagle. He was awarded several medals during his tenure including the Air Force Commendation Medal and was also voted Crew Chief of the Year by his peers of the 159th Fighter Wing.
