Peter Hansen was an American actor, best known for his role as lawyer Lee Baldwin, on the soap opera "General Hospital", appearing in the role from 1963 to 1986, briefly in 1989 and 1990, and returning to the role from 1992 to 2004. Hansen served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, flying the F4U Corsair in combat missions in the South Pacific. Hansen participated in the invasion of Peleliu in September 1944 and served until the start of the Korean War in 1950.
