Best known as Terry Duckworth, Vera and Jack's wayward son and was in Coronation Street from 1983 until 1987 as a regular cast mener, and has made many re-appearances from 1992 until his last appearance on 28th January 2008, when his character attended the funeral of his Mother, Vera.
Nigel Pivaro is also a journalist and in 2010 presented a lecture at the University Of Wolverhampton on his experiences while reporting on regenertion and also participated in a special Radio 4 Today programme with Evan Davis where he criticised the Media City development at Salford Quays, calling it a 'Cathedral of Corporatism' with few opportun
